Meet Lachlan…

Lachy is a physiotherapist with post graduate training in the area of Sports Physiotherapy. As part of this study, he recently completed a placement with the British Athletic team in Loughborough, England! We’re sure he picked up some awesome tips and tricks from some of the world’s best/fastest athletes, let alone the experience of working with an elite medical team.

Speaking of elite medical teams – he is also the physiotherapist for Geelong Football Clubs’s VFL team and consults at Olympic Park Sports Medicine Centre with some of Geelong’s leading sports medicine practitioners.

He will need all of this experience (and more) to make sure he stays injury free on the way to completing the Oxfam 50km trailwalk next year! Hopefully his training partner (Cookie the Portuguese Water Dog) can keep up for longer than his current 2km limit!
