I love my football, being a big supporter of the Sydney Swans. I have a keen interest in other sports such as golf, snowboarding and recreational gym training. I also fancy myself a cook, cooking up dishes such as slow cooked pulled pork rolls! When I’m not doing any of the above, I’ll usually be browsing the web planning future overseas trips.
I have worked with football clubs in Melbourne before taking the opportunity to utilize my skills overseas. Having spent one month at an orthopaedic hospital in Mumbai, India, I gained an incredible insight into surgery and management for knee and shoulder injuries. I also spent a month working at multiple clinics in London, from those designed for the elderly to those specifically suited for expectant mothers.
Most recently, I have undertaken further courses in the field of occupational health & safety and workplace ergonomics. This area is a keen interest for me as I believe by changing and modifying our workplace posture & ergonomics, we may help reduce the incidence of workplace strains & sprains.
I have always been a big believer of multi-disciplinary practice, and utilising the skills of different Allied Health professions to help our patients achieve their goals. At 13th Beach, I believe we are achieving this result and achieving it well. Our clinic is based on helping all our practitioners to develop & improve, both at a personal level and a professional level.
