THE ROLE

At 13th Beach Health Services our team of practitioners are upbeat, friendly, and love connecting with people. We are looking for someone experienced, highly motivated and confident in creating and delivering 60-minute group Reformer classes (4 people max). * we are looking for an energetic person with a passion for making Pilates fun, friendly, with an emphasis on positive results

* specialise in a range of different small group Reformer Pilates classes to suit all styles and fitness levels

* you will be working alongside 14 other exceptional practitioners in a close knit team environment.

* the position is employed permanent part time and the days and hours are flexible for the successful candidate, although ideally you will be available to work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

* the role will require the flexibility to be available to work some mornings and evenings. You would be required to work a minimum of 6 classes. 

ABOUT YOU

* you must be passionate about Pilates, health and fitness! 

* be an enthusiastic, caring individual with an outgoing, friendly personality

* a desire to work independently but fully supported by a large team of like-minded practitioners

* ambitious and seeking the opportunity to grow professionally and personally

* at least 6 months teaching experience

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

* you will have the freedom to design your own Pilates classes to showcase your own personality and flare

* create fun, engaging and upbeat Reformer Pilates classes* provide a excellent level of client care with a high focus on positive client outcomes 

* manage and grow a busy Studio Reformer Pilates list and maintain communication with clients, other practitioners, and referrers

* have a strong commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our local community

* the ability to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary allied health team 

* a willingness to grow your clinical skills through participation in regular ongoing professional and personal development sessions

PREFERRED SKILLS

* qualified Mat, Reformer, and Clinical Pilates instructor 

* a strong interest in sports injuries

* an interest in women’s health and pregnancy-related issues

You will be working closely with 14 other practitioners offering Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Exercise and Sports Doctor, Podiatry, Remedial Massage, Myotherapy, and Clinical Pilates and 3 administration staff providing full-time reception assistance.
