THE ROLE

At 13th Beach Health Services our team of practitioners are upbeat, friendly, and love connecting with people. We are looking for someone professional, highly motivated and confident in creating and delivering treatment and rehab plans for our wonderful patients. We are looking for an energetic person with a passion for making Osteopathy fun, friendly, with an emphasis on excellence and positive results.

* a willingness to grow your clinical skills through participation in regular ongoing professional and personal development sessions

* manage and grow a busy patient list and maintain constant communication with patients, other practitioners, and referrers

* have a strong commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our community

* provide content related to Osteopathy for educational/informative purposes on social media

* the ability to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary allied health clinic to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes

* contribute and assist with community information sessions

* provide a high level of patient care with a focus on patient outcomes and follow-up procedures

* manage and grow a busy patient list and maintain constant communication with patients, other practitioners, and referrers

PREFERRED SKILLS

* pilates training

* a strong interest in sports injuries 

* an interest in women’s health and pregnancy-related issues

The mentoring program we offer our practitioners is unique to each individual but will involve weekly catch ups with our professional development and leadership manager and weekly skills-based sessions with senior practitioner mentors. We also have monthly clinic tutorials with expert speakers such as orthopaedic surgeons and sports doctors as well as fun social events for team building.
You will be working closely with 16 other practitioners offering Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Exercise and Sports Doctor, Podiatry, Remedial Massage, Myotherapy, and Clinical Pilates and 5 administration staff providing full-time reception assistance
