Join the Team – Podiatrist

THE ROLE

You will be working alongside two Podiatrists and 12 highly experienced allied health practitioners in a close knit team environment. The position for the ideal candidate is for casual or part-time employment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

* provide a high level of patient care with a focus on patient outcomes and follow-up procedures

* manage and grow a busy patient list and maintain constant communication with patients, other practitioners, and referrers

* have a strong commitment to improving the health and wellbeing of our community

* provide content relative to Podiatry, for educational/informative purposes on social media

* the ability to work as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary allied health clinic to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes 

* manage stock ordering and upkeep

* sterilisation of tools 

* contribute and present at community information sessions 

* confident in lower limb, foot and ankle assessment

* strong interest in diabetic foot care and diabetic foot assessments

* a willingness to grow your clinical skills through participation in regular ongoing professional and personal development sessions

PREFERRED SKILLS

* a strong interest in Podiatric Sports Medicine

You will be working with 2 other podiatrists and 12 other practitioners offering Osteopathy, Physiotherapy, Myotherapy and Remedial Massage and 5 administration staff providing full-time reception assistance.
