CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) UPDATE
Dear Patients and Carers,
We firstly want to thank everyone for all of your incredible support during these difficult times
After re-opening we have been overwhelmed with the response from our wonderful patients and we are truly grateful to be able to help you all with your health and wellbeing.
We love caring for our patients and it is an absolute privilege to be able to work with each and every one of you during these uncertain times when we all need a little bit of extra love and support
If you’ve been in to see us recently.. thank you
If you sent us a message of support on social media or via email.. thank you
We’ve loved reading every one of your messages and it has brightened our day. We have tried to respond to all of the messages but with so many we may have missed a few so our apologies if we haven’t responded.
And to those who left a bottle of wine for us at the clinic.. thank you
Amy’s liver may take until 2021 to recover
If you have had trouble booking in due to the high demand we apologise as we had reduced our clinic opening hours when re-opening. But we are please to say we are now back to normal clinic hours so we would love to see you in the clinic soon.
We understand that some patients are still choosing to remain at home and we appreciate and respect that. Please contact us if you would like to discuss Telehealth consultations as these have proven really useful recently and are very easy and convenient to organise.
Further to our recent emails, we now have further measures within the clinic to ensure the health and wellbeing of all of our wonderful patients and staff.
Your heath and safety is our number 1 concern!!! In the past month we have initiates and increased a range of hygiene procedures to endure you can continue to come ad see us with 100% confidence. This includes-:
– COVID-19 testing of all staff
– less practitioners and staff on at any time ensuring less overall people in the clinic
Floor stickers to help with the flow of people in the clinic
– sneeze screen at reception
Increased time delays between patients to avoid congregating and to allow for cleaning
– Increase room cleaning and sterilising between patients
– Disposable treatment table covering to increase hygiene standards
– Increase disposable paper towel dispensers in the clinic
– More sanitiser within the clinic
– Routine scheduled cleaning of all high traffic areas of the clinic
– The option for patients and/or practitioners to wear face masks during consultations
– Patients are able to wait in their car instead of the reception area before consultation begins (The reception girls will call you when your practitioner is ready)
Also, we are please to announce as of Monday 18/05/20 we will be implementing routine thermometer testing of all staff and patients upon entering the clinic as another way of ensuring everyones heath and safety.
Thank you once again for involving us in your health and wellbeing. We appreciate how difficult these times are for a lot of people. As Henry Ford wrote, “When everything seems to be going against you, remember that the airplane takes off against the wind, not with it.”
Now is the time to offer compassion, support and gratitude for our communities and loved ones.
This too shall pass. In the meantime, above all, be kind — to each other and yourselves.
We are keeping up to date with the latest advice from both State and Federal Governments and also the World Health Organistion and will let you know more as soon as we do.
I am here for you… WE are here for you!
In strength and support,
Dave, Amy, and the team at 13th Beach Health Services
