13th Beach Health Services Barwon Heads Triathlon
Well done once again to Lincoln and the team for putting on a fantastic event for the 2021 13th Beach Health Services ‘Barwon Heads Triathlon’. A massive congratulations to everyone who competed on the day and everyone should be proud of themselves!
After the uncertainty of the last 12 months it was fantastic to see the event go ahead this year and we really appreciate the effort Linc put in to ensure the day ran smoothly.
We were so proud to cheer on 2 of our team members on the day competing in their first triathlon. Our Physio Briony and Podiatrist Catherine both did incredibly well and hats off to Catherine who after the triathlon had to race off to compete in a cricket Grand Final!!!
Special mention to both Louise Wood (48:59.3) and Adam Conquest (39:04.1) for their wins in the female and male categories respectively. It was incredible to see Adam win the event for the 3rd time and to finish in under 40 minutes!
Our team at 13th Beach Health Services are proud to be involved in such a great day and it’s fantastic to see familiar faces each year as well people competing in their first triathlon event. With around 800 competitors and over 300 first timers this year it just shows how popular this community event is.
