What is Osteoarthritis?

A condition that effects whole joints where bone, cartilage, ligaments and muscles can be effected by inflammation causing pain and stiffness. Osteoarthritis (OA) does not have to occur bilaterally and is often seen in hips, knees, fingers and the big toe.

Risk factors for OA include:
– Being overweight
– Previous injuries
– Excessive or repetitive use
– Family history

What is Rheumatoid Arthritis?

A autoimmune disease that’s origin is still unknown, occurring symmetrically our immune system attacks the lining of our joints causing symptoms of swelling, stiffness and pain within your joints. Most commonly seen in small joints of your hands and feet it may effect larger joints such as the knee.

Risk factors for RA include:
– Smoking
– Family history
