We are really excited to bring back our Run Club better than ever!! Over the past few weeks we have been working hard to adapt to these crazy times. One of our focuses has been to take our Wednesday night Run Club virtual. We wanted to make it bigger and better for our community so we have created and collaborated with lots of amazing people to bring you goals to achieve, programs to help you achieve them, and some friendly competition along the way.
HOW DOES IT WORK:
We have created a club platform on Strava so you can all continue to tick off your running and walking goals. All you need to do is:
(1) Download the Strava app in either your Apple App Store or Android Play Store.
(2) Create your account.
(3) Search for 13th BHS Move Club and click JOIN. We will accept you into the private group
(4) Choice your program or goal of choice for the month.
(5) Get moving, upload your workouts and track your effort over the month. The fantastic thing about this platform is that you will be able to see what everyone else achieving, comment either words of encouragement or friendly competitive banter and retake some of those Run Club vibes we loved so much.
WHAT ELSE DOES MOVE CLUB OFFER:
We will be offering five monthly challenges that will have a specific prize attached to the winner, these challenges will vary and cater for all abilities. We are extremely lucky and grateful to have collaborated with some other local businesses so don’t just expect prizes coming from our clinic but all the wonderful local stores in our backyard.
LASTLY: Don’t worry we will still be taking a Wednesday Night workout from the bridge carpark once we are all allowed out and about.
